Gen Z

 Teenagers ( 16, 17 year olds ) booze openly and consider it normal. It is the new cool of the Gen Z. Being fearless is something. Knowing no boundaries at all is something else. I am definitely growing old or I am perhaps at odds with new trends. When I was in class three, I used to bring flowers for my teachers and so did my friends. We all had this competition as kids, though none of us ever agreed to it. I set my  mind to become a teacher in class three because I had this weird idea in my mind that my students will bring me flowers everyday just like I did it for my teachers. Now I am a teacher. I have real notebooks in place of newspapers that acted like my notebooks when I played ' teacher, teacher ' as a child. I have real students who upload pictures on Instagram and Facebook like professionals, irrespective of the age. And forget about the flower part. It is a matter of the bygone days. Just a dream. Not that I never received flowers from my students but things are very different. Students these days have so many things to distract themselves with. We as kids had outdoor games and wounded knees. No social media accounts. As a 16 year old, I read. A lot. At 18, I broke rules. I should not say I broke rules. 18 is the legal age for everything worth trying. Isn't it? But I was still very sincere and committed to my work. Let's leave that aside. The point is, I wonder if I live for ten more years, what other trends will follow?

The hoho and the hehe

Now there you guys, do you even know that that you need your Aadhar card for paid sex in Goa. Hohoho. There is nothing called private in our lives anymore and anyway I wonder, why do they need the Aadhar card for that? How can things become more legal and politically correct, when there are obvious loopholes in the system. The second thing that I would like to share today is that recently i have started following someones blog. And what I have discovered from the writing of that person is that, both of us have a similar view and attitude towards the outside world. We had had similar experiences in the past too.  Lately and coincidentally, people from different backgrounds and places, have been asking me if I am okay with being alone ? Some even ask me how do I manage it because they want such a lifestyle for themselves. While few others look at me with speculative eyes and think that I fake the happiness and the indifferent attitude, towards almost everything. (other than my career, of course)  Now! Do I like being alone all the time? Does it add to my loneliness? I like being alone. I think I am able to breath from a higher place of authentic energy as long as I am alone. I am creative.
