Hello after two months

And i get back to what i dearly missed for the past two months odd. Life kept me pretty busy. There has been too much of learning at the professional level and I am still getting used to the fact that I am no more a beginner in this field and though young, the professional environment has accepted me like never before. I am very happy to announce that my school has won the Green school of the year award [ north ] and also the best infrastructure [ jury choice ] award at the Global education Awards 2019. It has been ranked as the No.1 co-ed boarding school in Rajasthan for 6 consecutive years now and has achieved 14th rank in all over India among the co-ed boarding schools of the country by ISRA. The award ceremony will be held on 28th and 29th September in Gurgaon. At present the school is busy with the academic exchange program with Canford school, UK as well as ongoing excursions. Now that i am done with praise for my school , i shall come back to some regular talks. It too might include things about the school because after all i am always inside the campus.. Or should i talk about the two novels that i recently finished. One is 'Nomad' by Ayan Ali and the other is 'The forest of Enchantments' by Chitra Banerjee. 'Nomad 'mainly talks about the author's journey and perspective about Islam. The first few chapters where she introduces herself and her family members, the readers are forced to acknowledge that it is not difficult just for the Muslim women but also for the Muslim men to succumb to pre conditioned norms. Further she goes on to explain that how the western beliefs and concepts are liberal and more practical and does not deny any person of their human rights or happiness. It also throws light on the emotional instability that Islam often leads to. Over all it was a good read. The second book was amazing because Chitra Banerjee has been one of my personal favourites since I read 'The palace of illusions'. The Forest of enchantments is Ramayan from Sita's perspective. And indeed one shall see Sita in a different light here. But what is more thought provoking about this book is the way the women were subjected to physical and mental violence by men of that time. It makes us question if Ram can at all be referred to as god? The world of maya has been put forward as a point of justification for all the ill treatment by the men towards women and that pricked my heart. My anger made me finish this thick novel in two days and i can't wait to read more of Chitra Banerjee but for now i already have another book to start with. It is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. Yes , i can see that smile on some of your faces. I am thankful to the book fair that was held in our school a month back that helped me purchase these three awesome books. Some other work has come up, it seems. Just note readers, i shall continue to write my blog but not so frequently as before.
