Note to a kid

When students who try to keep in touch with you not because the syllabus demands it but because you matter to them, makes you feel good. And then when you get compliments like ' ma'am there is no substitute to you ', makes you feel even better. I need to write all this down here on my blog  so that someday  when i would like to turn back the pages of my life  and ask myself about my achievements, these little compliments shall make me smile more than my materialistic gains. I won't name the student but this blog is for you and i hope you are reading it. Lately you have faced problems in your life. And you did not know what to do or how to come out from a situation like that. I would like to tell you that you are not alone here. We all face situations that can shake us a little. And I won't say that since you are a teenager, you are more likely to be in trouble because I still find  myself doing such stupid things and i am not a teenager. Trust is a very important word. Do not give away this beautiful word to random people who pose themselves as friends. Not everyone deserves it. Be with people who love you from the core of their hearts. And if you ask me i shall tell you they are none other than your parents. And if you are going to be very lucky in your life you might get two or three more people. Child you are young. It is your time to live your life and not spent days crying just because a person you thought was a friend, is not one. You shall meet better people. You will get better opportunities. Think of all the good things that can happen to you if you just study properly for the time being. and that too at a time when you are having your board exams. Do not waste your energy on people who hurt you. They are not worth your time or mind. Ask me? I am sailing on the same boat. But my experience has taught me to love myself more and care more for people who has time for me. To care for people who give away without expecting anything in return. You can do the same. There is no immediate or temporary solution for matters that challenge you emotionally and help you grow. So i won't ask you to rush. Take your time because you shall soon realize that not only did you overcome the hurdle but also leveled yourself up and became a better human. And who knows you might be counselling some junior in the near future. Waste some time enjoying and ask yourself if that should at all be termed as a waste? Read good books but as you do not like reading you can do other stuffs that will give you joy. Anything from staring at the blue sky, to playing PUBG or helping someone or eating junk food or giving private tuitions to a junior. Just anything. But make sure whatever you do it gives you happiness, mental peace. Respect yourself and you will see the difference. All the best for your exam and i know you will do well because that is the only option you have  ( who said? well, me ;]. )
