Childhood pursuits
Peace has been restored with the end of Durga Puja.No more waking up at five in the morning or staring at colourful dumb faces,or listening to all those useless bragging,or trying to avoid people you can't help cursing.I always feel glad, when I visit my hometown, more so because I treat this place, as a vacation spot nowadays, but to return back and immediately face the Pujas with all its hoch-poch-ness,is asphyxiating, that too because you know though a vacation,it is not exactly one, with all the paperwork, reference and every other thing that requires reading and reading which again demands peace.A few days back, someone just texted me saying of how I put an extra emphasis on 'I',everytime I write my blog and if you are reading this,I must say that, that nothing can be stupider than your question, because this is MY blog, where I write about MY experiences, likes, dislikes, feelings, and about everything that happens to ME. So there is nothing wrong in that.I have seen enough thick headed people in my life so far,and I do care.I have always been a huge Potter fan,(both books and movies),and I was in Love with Daniel Radcliffe since i was ten.But then I brushed up my memory of him a few days back, while I was peeping into the pages of an old diary that was filled with all the information about J.K Rowling,Harry Potter stuffs and Radcliffe .So I decided to actually look at his fresh interviews and know a little bit more about him. I got hold of my cellphone and started checking out his interviews and then something happened.I have always admired him,his acting but never thought of how he would be as a human. But i have started admiring him as a human too.Not that he is completely free of his 'so not desired' qualities but I love him for the very reasons the critics criticize him.I was even surprised to see that there were people who had their researches done on him. There was this one crazy stuff that I accidentally came across, where a funny and eccentric woman was crying and complaining of how Radcliffe's process of starving himself for his movie roles, have hurt her so much, that she, once a diehard Radcliffe fan,has started to hate him.If that was your plan to hit views on the YouTube, you certainly have failed lady and with one fan gone,it would hardly matter a busy man like him,who has got thousands of fans all over the world and take my assurance,he hardly knows any of them.I am probably the last one to say this, but with all the ups and downs in his life he has still managed to come up and accept challenging roles. He has been fully able to regain his identity as a book lover and give up on his addictions,to a great extent if not completely and only if one is an addict one will know how much will is required of a man,to give up an addiction. He is also humble enough to accept that he thinks of other actors as his competitors, unlike most others who claim that they are their own competitors. I don't know if he has already made his visit to India, but in one of his interviews he clearly mentioned to make India his next destination.Only if I could get a glimpse!
