My thoughts now

It is not uncommon nowadays to deny things you like. But why?You watch a reality show but pretend you don't,or you listen to a pop song and know the lyrics by heart but say people 'this is the first time that i am hearing this song'.Let me tell you all one thing-even i have tried this dumbness and not to lie, many times. And if you are one such victim all i can ask of you is to 'calm down and relax'.All must be well acquainted with the saying that what's not popular isn't culture.Accept it,whether you like it or not that Twilight,Facebook,Undercut or all those things that are utterly ridiculous dominate our culture now.It is all pop culture and sometimes you just don't want to be a part of such horrible system but then your secret habits quite match the taste of pop culture, but since you're not like the rest or that's what you exactly portray yourself to be,or like to think of yourself as one such, you end up struggling to thrust yourself as a cultured human. As i said.'Calm down and relax'.There are people who even debate on Twilight characters such as Bella as a part of their dedication to feminism.Check it out on Google and you will know what i mean.I have seen some literates claim, that 'don't be a part of the crowd',but trust me,if you need to set out for yourself on a different path, you will need that crowd again. Now don't misinterpret it with wrong reasons that i am against introverts or speaking against how people think they should live their lives.I am just discussing of how people, who think they are the best, often self contradict with their own opinions. For example-i just had that opportune moment in my life to meet this literate(just a literate and a too emotional or rather a completely emotionless jerk), claiming of how very proud the literate felt for being a non-mobile person and some years later the same literate was talking about technology and the discrimination it creates between people and of how, to have a better experience of blogging, one must have a laptop or a tab and nothing below that.So my question is,why you even talk about technology and it's discrimination, when you feel one must have a tab or a laptop at his or her disposal to blog.I blog from my cell phone daily and i am proud of it and since a non- mobile person, indirectly tries to claim that ,that person is also a non-tech one,let me assure you, that such a person is nothing but a hypocrite.Technology includes in the broader aspect, everything ranging from cell phones to computers to other serious inventions and since this literate also believed in not walking with the crowd,i will just ask-are you not trying to teach people to follow your path, because you think that is right and yes no matter how knowledgeable you are,i definitely refuse to be your shadow.I have my own opinions like you have yours.I have my own morales and principles which i won't let go,just because a literate jerk like you thinks in a different way. You,as a literate will always have many BLIND followers and how happy i am,that i am not one among them.So yes,i am not walking with the crowd to follow your useless lectures. Now the good thing is,it rained for quite sometime in the noon today. And i had that joyous experience of picking fallen mangoes from our Mango tree.Ohhh,i will always love Durgapur for the small joys that it has always provided me with.At times i feel extremely happy to have spend eighteen years of my life in this small town.Where would i be without your memories Durgapur? You keep me grounded, and that is exactly what i am so grateful for.No matter where i am in my later days, i shall never forget the place that made me what i am today. It is indeed sad when people say 'Durgapur is a village'.I pity their thoughts, and i sympathize with you, because we know that is not true.Lesser job opportunities don't make you a bad place. In fact the tranquillity that you provide to the denizens,is incomparable. You have always been a friend and you shall always remain one. It is already the month of June, and it is almost time for the Calcutta university final year results to be out.I am pretty nervous,if you ask me.But since i am a bit fatalistic,i shall say all is earmarked.Just keeping my fingers crossed and no matter what, nothing or noone can stop me from working hard and that is a promise i have to keep.
