Destined darkness

The light of the candle is still,a small entity by itself.Darkness prevails everywhere except for the place,where the lighted candle is. Candle-I will die and fade.You will be left alone again.What will you do then? Darkness-Will wait for the next candle. Candle-You are confined,yet immortal,and you get candles,many candles to talk with. Darkness-Candles like you just remind me of my cursed eternity but also helps me do away with my lonliness for sometime. Candle-But i envy you.You have a forever life and we melt and vanish so quickly. Darkness-A forever life,where even if I smile none can see me.Its always so dark.Nobody wants.They need you in my presence and that in a way,brings me joy. Candle-Do you mean we candles complete you? Darkness-Light completes me.It kills me. Candle-I don't understand.How is that even possible? Darkness-How do you feel when you are replaced by another candle? Candle-I know i am subjected to such a kind of life which i fear but cannot deny. Darkness-Your life is short and easy.Mine is...(Darkness pauses,and then with a smile,which the candle feels but does not really see,tells the candle)"a forever life". Candle-Did you ever consider any candle your friend? Darkness-No,would you like to be one? Candle-I live for the next two and a half hours. Darkness-What happens to you,after you melt? Candle-Our life evaporates,with the smoke you see and our body melts.The death is not that painful,but knowing the exact hour,when we will die kills us inside. Darkness-Can i touch you? Candle-How would you do that? Darkness-Are you eager? Candle-Why not?I just have two and a half hours more,or maybe less. Darkness-Just don't move (The lighted part of the dark area suddenly became dark.The candle was burning,but not with the same brightness.After few minutes...) Darkness-I never felt like this before because no one felt be. (The melted wax fell down from the top of the candle just like a teardrop.Darkness did not know if the candle was crying) Candle-People use me,to burn me,end me.Without your presence,my absence is never felt.Wish i could stay in your embrace for a longer time.(pausing)Will you do that to me because I don't have enough time. (Darkness never felt so much like a human as it did now.It was close to the candle,close to light,close to what it can never be,close to a place where it's confinement meant life to it...but for a few more minutes) Candle-Will you remember me as your first friend? Darkness-(with a heavy voice)-Yes. Candle-Will you befriend a second candle? Darkness-Only if it comes from you and your warmth. Candle-Will you forget me? Darkness-Not till I merge with you one day Candle-Adios Amigo.Take care. (Soon it was dark again and even darkness could not see its' own tears,but feel an intact pain,which the absence of the candle produced,in the heart of darkness,which was dark again). (we can consider a world without electricity for some time:))

Who says English is easy?

Who says English is easy?I honestly did not know how to pronounce Freud-it was confusing,until one day one of my schoolmates corrected me,indirectly and since then I know that I need to pronounce it as FROYED and not FREEEEEUD.Lets take an easy example-COW;a person not knowing the English alphabets may pronounce it as CO,because the W in itself is a two syllabic word(if we consider it's spelling),so people can be mistaken and they can pronounce it as Co and then W but it's real pronunciation is CAUU.Another simple example can be the word MORE.Judged from the spelling,it should sound as MOR-E,with a clear emphasis on E,but in English we don't do that because the E becomes silent.The same goes for the word LATE because we don't pronounce it as LATE-E.Confusion persists in the pronounciation of A as well.It becomes difficult for us to contemplate if we should pronounce A as we normally do,when we follow the English alphabetical chart or should we pronounce it as Aaaaa.So w...

Ten years since 2013. The year when I stepped into my college. A new world, a new culture and a completely new environment with new faces. College felt numb and so did my P. G. Always thought of holidays, felt happier when got them. Three months at a stretch sometimes. Holidays always meant an escape to my hometown, to my family. Now it's my mother and me and the idea of hometown does not excite me anymore. It's just a place where I survive and try to thrive. There is no escape even when there are plenty of options. Think I already know what hell might feel like.  With a deeper understanding of life, universe and humans, my mind has almost given up on the human civilization ( not to forget I don't like the street dogs crying and howling at night and continuing with it for one hour to say the least.
